"I tell you, we've really got a terrific women's team and I am really proud of those girls. The conference is strong. Before the season, I thought, 'Man, we've got a strong team'. Buit as the season went along, it became pretty evident that so did Southern Illinois and SMS. And so, this was a battle.

"We've got some spectacular athletes on our team. We've got several girls on the team who are among the best who've ever been in the Missouri Valley Conference."
