AT ILLINOIS: Swam in 5 meets last season...finished 4th in the 100 meter breast against Illinois State...was apart of 200 medley relay team which finished 6th in a double-dual against Iowa and Ohio State...earned Deans List honors during the Spring 2006 semester.

HIGH SCHOOL: Qualified for state three times in her career...twice she qualified in the 100 breast finishing 9th her junior season and 11th her senior season...qualified for the 200 IM her junior season finishing 11th...won two Gateway Conference titles her junior season in the 100 breast and 200 IM...finished third in the conference in the 100 breast and 200 IM her senior season.

PERSONAL: Born July 5, 1988 in Flora, Ill. ...daughter of Michael Grandcolas and Christina Sigler...has one sister, Michelle, who swam at the University of Illinois for four seasons...her father, Michael, played baseball and ran track at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, he also was an Olympic trial qualifier in the 100 meters...her grandfather, Al Grandcolas, played minor league baseball...was a member of National Honor Society and made the honor roll all four years of her high school career...also involved in theater, choir and was her senior class treasurer...her major is undecided.
