2007: Played in all 51 games, starting 44 at first base...Led the team in sacrifices (10)...Recorded seven doubles and one home run...Hit two doubles against Illinois State (March 17)...Finished the season with 312 putouts and 23 assists and only six errors...Had a four-game hit streak (Feb. 10-24)...Recorded two multiple-RBI games and seven multiple-hit games.
2006: Played in 49 of 51 games, starting all 49...Was Panthers' primary first baseman, making 40 starts...Also made five starts at third base...Posted .986 fielding percentage...Recorded just four errors in 277 chances...Usually hit from middle of lineup, making 40 starts in either third, fourth or fifth spots...Hit .266 with seven doubles and a home run...Drove in 25 runs, third-best among Missouri Valley Conference freshmen...Went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI in 6-1 win over Iowa State (April 12)...Combined to go 11-for-20 with six RBI in six-game stretch against Wichita State, Iowa State and Drake (April 8-15)...Tallied seven multiple-hit games and six multi-RBI games.
High School: Hit .484 as a senior and was a Class 4A first team and Elite Team all-state selection in 2005...As a junior, earned Elite Team all-state honors in 2004 with .424 batting average and was named Class 4A offensive and defensive player of the year...Was named to Class 3A all-state first team as a utility player in 2002 (.406 average) and 2003 (.397)...Won four district titles and made four state tournament appearances with Fort Dodge in career spanning from 2001-2005, during which time team posted a 210-40 overall record...
