The Panther Diamond Backers
As the UNI baseball program continues to grow and gain a level of consistent excellence. The Panther Diamond Backers were developed to support the Panther baseball team in a variety of ways, such as team travel, equipment purchases and many other projects.

One of the big reasons for success of the baseball program has been the generous donations from the members of the Diamond Backers. All of the contributions made go directly to the baseball program.

"The Diamond Backers are a group that really care about our baseball program at the highest level," UNI Athletic Director Rick Hartzell said. "Without their support we could not be competitve in the Missouri Valley or in the midwest. Their support, which comes in many ways, is invaluable to our baseball program and to coach Heller. Personally, I sincerely appreciate their interest and support of our baseball program."

When the team takes the field they are playing for all of the people who have pride in the UNI baseball program.
